Vowel Sounds

This class book idea comes from my teaching partner Cathy.  She makes a different class book for every vowel sound.  The front of the page is a short a sound and the back of it is the long a sound.  The song goes to the tune of Frere Jacques and I believe it comes from Dr. Jean.

I got the idea for this class book from Deanna Jump's apple and farm unit here. This is one of our favorites, they still read it over and over!

Pete the Cat Class Book

This was the first class book that we made together.  It's based off Brown Bear, Brown Bear Who Do You See? Making this book made it really easy for us to learn our names quickly!
