QR Code Frenzy

I've been on a little bit of a QR code kick lately, there are so many fun ways to use them around the classroom.  My most favorite revelation is that I can easily use them to differentiate work for different students AND they get to have control over some aspects of our activities using them. Here are some of my favorite resources I've found so far:

This shape scavenger hunt is free here through TPT.  It gives me lots of great ideas for alternatives to write the room.

There are endless amounts of self check worksheets you can find on TPT like this one. This is a great option for students who are early finishers.

We love Pete in here!  To accompany our Pete the Cat books, I add QR codes that send the students to You Tube videos of the Pete books like this one being read aloud so they can follow along.

I will also add a QR code next to our bulletin boards to send students to fun You Tube videos that show songs or dances about the topics we are learning about like this one from Harry Kindergarten.

Our video QR codes are meant for early finishers, they are able to grab an iPad if they finish a task and scan the codes to reinforce skills and concepts we've learned together.  It's a fun alternative to just having them go right to an app.
