We had a great polar bear day yesterday, we started off with some fun polar bear rotations. The first was making a polar bear snack using a rice cake, fronting, marshmallows and chocolate chips. Each piece of the snack taught us something new about their eyes, ears, fur and bodies.
We also got to experiment how blubber works by putting our hand in ice water, then covering it in shortening to see how it made a difference.
Then we wrote about our experiment and drew a scientific drawing.
We played a polar bear math game.
And finally, we made paws and learned about polar bear's adaptations.
