Bare Books

During a Nellie Edge workshop, we learned about these awesome blank books for students to publish their writing in.  The pages are really thick like a board book.  They are called Bare Books and can be found here. The students write their stories and draw pictures in these books using Sharpies. They are so fun! The kids take their writing so seriously when they know it's going to turn into an actual book.  It's helping them understand the importance of the editing process. We started them this week, here's a couple covers that are done so far.
